We love our dogs and we will do anything to keep them safe. That same predicament fell on a south Florida man who had to save his dog from an alligator.
74-year-old Richard Willbanks rushed into a lake, grabbed a gator that ran off with his beloved 3-month old King Charles spaniel puppy in its jaws, and pried its mouth open for the rescue. Willbanks with a cigar still in his mouth, got in the water, and saved his puppy Gunner while enduring gator bites himself. The entire scene was captured on a random camera ran by the Florida Wildlife Foundation. CNN interviewed Willbanks with a sleepy Gunner in his lap about the entire ordeal and how he stepped in for man’s best friend and proved he is a hero.
This is a very Florida story but not the one we are used to.
Here’s something that feels like it could ONLY happen in a movie, but it actually happened to some poor guy in real life.
A 47-year-old guy named Peirson Tone from Bend, Oregon was depressed a few years ago when his marriage fell apart because his wife had an affair.
So he went to the family doctor, a guy named Ronald Rosen, to get both counseling and a prescription for his depression.
But after the appointment, he found out who his wife had the affair with. And yeah, you got it: It was with Ronald.
So Peirson just sued Ronald for $2.9 million for professional negligence.
In case you missed this, before Halloween, there was a RUN on a 12-foot-tall outdoor skeleton decoration. They were $300 and Home Depot couldn’t keep them on the shelves.
That’s an expensive decoration, and it’s gotta be hard to store. So . . . instead of taking them down, apparently lots of people have been repurposing their giant skeletons as Christmas decorations.
There are photos popping up online of the giant skeletons dressed as Santa, covered in lights, or even in a Pilgrim costume for Thanksgiving.

Threads and nails. I tried so hard and got so far……. from r/LinkinPark
This isn’t the first time that Redditor Hlantaart has shared their art of the Linkin Park frontman. Here are some more examples.

Screenrant reported this week on a funny story that is sure to tug at the cape of any superhero fan. Director David F. Sandberg shared a post on Instagram that joked the next ‘Shazam’ movie he is working on would have to justify it’s “one billion dollar budget” by bringing in characters from much bigger franchises like Wonder Woman, Marvel, and Star Wars with a mock poster made by @cloniiCorey.
Been a few months and I made this mid-October?, but I'm on my last brain cell so eff it.
Was this similar what you had in mind @ponysmasher ? https://t.co/c01HXDTY48 pic.twitter.com/2EIEtC0Pvt— Corey Z. MacLean 💀🎃💀 (@CloniiCorey) November 19, 2020
‘Shazam: Fury of the Gods!’ is set to begin production in 2021. If you have not checked out the first Shazam movie, stream it now on HBO Max and stay for the post-credit scene.
‘Stranger Things’ has had penchant for throwing back to pop culture’s past in it’s sci-fi in-a-small-town storylines but this week they reeled in a massive horror movie legend. Robert Englund is set to join the fourth season of the Netflix series. Yes, Freddie Krueger is clawing into Hawkins, Indiana.
Englund is set to play a fitting role of Victor Creel, “a disturbed and intimidating man who is imprisoned in a psychiatric hospital for a gruesome murder in the 1950s.” Consequence of Sound has a full articile breaking down all the new characters and who is returning for ‘Stranger Things 4’, read that here.
I love it when artists interview each other. This is the perfect example.
Kevin Parker of Tame Impala and Billy Corgan of The Smashing Pumpkins sat down for Rolling Stone‘s “Musicians on Musicians” issue, and Parker was shocked by one of Corgan’s answers.
Parker: Tell me this: Did you guys have plans to come to Australia before this whole coronavirus shutdown?
Corgan: You know, it’s a sad thing. No promoter will bring us over.
Parker: What are you talking about? I’ll have a chat with my people.
Corgan: We’ll get you up for a Siamese Dream song.
Parker: Oh, my God, that would be amazing. That would be a dream.
In the interview, Parker mentions that Siamese Dream feels like a hug to him, and Corgan says that some of Tame Impala’s music reminds him of The Bee Gees. (Yikes … was that a compliment? )

So it sounds like Wrigley Field isn’t going anywhere anytime soon!
Wrigley Field has been designated as a National Historic Landmark, affirming its significance to the city of Chicago, professional sports and American history and culture.

Seven year-old Danny Sheehan, who is battling a rare form of brain cancer, might be Aquaman’s biggest fan.
Jason Momoa (Aquaman) heard about Danny after a viral video of the brave little hero, where Sheehan is seen becoming overwhelmed after being surprised with an Aquaman toy, went viral.
So Momoa decided to give Danny a call on Facetime.
Danny’s first words were, “Hi Aquaman,” Danny said. “I’m so excited.”
Momoa responded,“Hi Beautiful boy,I’m excited.”
My heart is bursting!
Listen up.
Samuel Jackson has a really important message for all of you who are tired of being at home.
It sucks we all know.
But remember STFAH. It could save some lives!
STFAH Chicago! Let’s all STFAH!
With the reboot of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air coming to HBO Max, the cast wanted to make sure to show their respect for the late and great James Avery, who played Uncle Phil in the original show.
HBO Max released a video honoring the late actor.
I’m not crying! You’re crying!
Last year, the major retail brands in this country offered an average discount of 40.4% off on Black Friday. This year, they’re not quite so generous.
According to an analysis of the 7,000 Black Friday deals that are being advertised by the 26 biggest retail stores in the country, the average discount this year is 32.2% off. That’s the lowest discount in the six years of this particular study.
There are four stores that have an average discount above 50%, though. Those are: JCPenney . . . Macy’s . . . Kohl’s . . . and Belk. It’s been a tough year for giant department stores. They need to move merchandise.
On the other end of things, there are seven stores where the average discount is under 25%. Those are: Ace Hardware . . . Big Lots . . . Dell . . . Costco . . . Sam’s Club . . . Overstock.com . . . and Newegg.
(Here are the rankings for all 26 stores, plus breakdowns on where you can find the best discount in different categories of products.)
We don’t condone car vandalism.
But if you are going to… This might not be the worst idea is all we’re saying.
That glitter will be around for the rest of that car’s life!
Evil! Pure evil!
There have been a crazy amount of states that have legalized marijuana for either recreational or medical use.
Oregon even legalized… Well, drugs!
But is medicinal prostitution the next thing to be legalized?
See if this guy can convince you.
What do you think? Does he make any good points?
There is nothing better than the story behind the music.
A&E’s documentary Biggie: The Notorious B.I.G. gives us some awesome insight into the late rappers story.
This is an awesome story about the story behind his first album “Ready To Die”.
What a story!
