The Most Popular Ice Cream Flavor of the Year Is . . . Yeah, Vanilla

With ALL the ice cream people have eaten at home this year, THIS is the best we could do?

Haagen-Dazs just released its four best-selling flavors of 2020.  And the most popular ice cream is . . . vanilla.

Chocolate didn’t even make the Top 5.  Sad trombone.

The rest of the top five are:  Coffee . . . strawberry . . . and butter pecan . . . and a bar of vanilla ice cream dipped in milk chocolate and covered with almonds.  (Red Tricycle)

Warner Brothers Movies Will Hit HBO Max the Same Day They Hit Theaters in 2021

Warner Brothers announced yesterday that all the movies on its 2021 release schedule will hit HBO Max the same day they hit theaters.  They’ll be available on the streaming service for no extra charge, but only for 31 days.

That’s 17 films in all, including “Godzilla vs. Kong”“The Matrix 4”“The Suicide Squad”“Dune”“Space Jam: A New Legacy”“Tom & Jerry”“Mortal Kombat”“The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It”, and the “Sopranos” prequel, “The Many Saints of Newark”.

Warner Brothers said it’s trying to guarantee, quote, “as many movies as we could for the year for the global theatrical marketplace.”

They also don’t think it’ll hurt theater attendance because, quote, “We think where theaters are open, and consumers can go, that a lot of people will choose to go to the theater, especially for big movies.”

Still, theater chains were caught off guard, and AMC just entered negotiations with them.

Is this dating consultant too harsh?

Would you get mad at a dating consultant for being to real about your situation?

You did go to them for advice, so there has to be something to it right?

But this dating consultant really went in on this, seemingly nice, lady who wants to date a man who makes 6 figures.

What do you think? Was this too harsh or was it a little dose of reality?

Best and Worst Cities for Single People … Where does Chicago rank?

It’s been a weird and frustrating year for dating . . . maybe SO weird and frustrating that you’d be willing to uproot your life out of Chicago and move across the country to improve things.  And here’s how to do THAT :

WalletHub.com just released a study ranking the 182 biggest cities in the U.S. from the best place for single people to the worst.

The rankings are based on 32 different factors including the percentage of single people . . . the gender ratio . . . the number of people using online dating . . . and the cost of things like dinner, drinks, entertainment, and rent.

And because it’s 2020, they also included the state’s coronavirus restrictions in the calculation . . . the fewer the regulations, the better the score.  That’s right:  Less regulation equals more dating opportunities.  It’s a difficult time to be single.

Anyway, based on all of that, the five best cities for singles are:  Madison, Wisconsin . . . Atlanta . . . Denver . . . Salt Lake City . . . and Columbia, South Carolina.

And the five worst cities are:  Glendale, California . . . Brownsville, Texas . . . Pembroke Pines, Florida . . . Warwick, Rhode Island . . . and Laredo, Texas.  (WalletHub)

Whose Karen is it?

It’s that time of the week again!

Whose Karen is it!!!!!

Today’s Karen is not amused at all at being carded for some wine at Jewel.

Ok in her defense, that is super annoying.

She should obviously be old enough just by the ol’ look over method.

But the rules are the rules Karen! Don’t forget your ID next time.
