2021 has already had a lot of lows and highs, news that we get a new Rise Against album soon definitely falls under the latter. We will be gifted with their 9th studio album ‘Nowhere Generation’ June 4th, and they boys just shared an impeccable live acoustic performance of the title track during the Nowhere Sessions. The 25-foot-slide that has greeted Maggie Daley Park visitors is being torn down after a number of controversies. For some people, this slide has become a major attraction for care-free-fun. For others, this slide has become an injury-machine. As injuries and lawsuits continue to pile up, the Chicago Park District has decided to dismantle the slide.

Lovers of Heinz Ketchup need to stock up immediately. America’s most popular ketchup brand is facing a ketchup shortage as more and more restaurants continue to reopen their doors. The company says that bottled ketchup isn’t as big of an issue as the tiny, resturant-sized ketchup packages are. That begs the question, are they putting different ketchup in bottles compared to packets? Who knew the world of ketchup was so intense!

A mom’s April Fool’s Day prank has backfired on her. A woman in Kansas has ended up behind bars after she lied to her daughter about being shot in her home. This led to an armed standoff between police and a home, assuming that there was an armed person inside the home. When police broke down the door, the house was empty. It was all a big prank. The mother was arrested on unlawful request of emergency service assistance.

A teacher in Illinois has been suspended after she accidentally SnapChatted the entire school her sex tape. Yes, these are the perils of teaching in 2021. No charges have been filed against the teacher as it does not appear that she was attempting to groom any students nor was she willfully distributing pornography, but that didn’t stop students from supposedly watching the video. How do you not just quit after this? You can’t possibly return to this school ever again.

The inspiration for “Dear Maria Count Me In” has been revealed and is going viral.

Facebook had a huge data leak — see if your phone number is a part of it
Information from over a half billion Facebook users was found on a website for hackers recently. The information appears several years old, and as The Guardian reports, Facebook says they fixed the vulnerability that made in available back in 2019. However…your information may still be out there, ripe for identity theft.
