Chipotle claims “Burrito or Bitcoin” in National Burrito Day giveaway

It all started from one chord.
Here’s how Dave Grohl says downtime in a studio plus a breakup inspired one of the Foo Fighters’ greatest songs. And (BONUS), a new acoustic performance to enjoy — the way Dave always intended the song to be. When you’re done with this video, check out Dave doing a disco cover — [eric]
HOLY COW! Starting next week, Wrigley Field will become a vaccination site offering up to 5,000 shots per day. This is GREAT news for everyone, well, except maybe Sox fans who have sworn to never step foot in the Friendly Confines. I’ve had a miserable time trying to secure an appointment for my vaccine shot, and if you’re like me, hopefully this will make that much easier. Read more HERE, and please get your shot, its our best shot to FINALLY be done with all this mess.

Nothing says romance like sending your new girlfriend to the accounts receivable department.
A woman just posted a story on Reddit’s Relationships channel about her first romantic weekend away with her new boyfriend.
As they were planning, he sent her a spreadsheet, quote, “literally breaking down the cost of everything to the cent . . . telling me I owed him $167.99. [I] would happily have just given him $200 to cover my share of the weekend.”
“He’s an accountant so I get that he kinda does spreadsheets for a living, but this has ruined the vibe of the weekend for me. I’m his new girlfriend . . . not a client to send an invoice outlining every cent. Am I right to feel this is weird and unreasonable?”
So IS that a red flag? Not ALL of the responses are taking her side. I mean, most of them are . . . but some people are giving the guy the benefit of the doubt.
One person said, quote, “She’s with him because she likes him so far. He seems like a bit of a dork . . . but honestly there are much worse things. He probably just needs to chill out a touch.”

UPDATE, 3/31/21:
Volkswagon admits it purposely pranked reporters on the name change. What, I gotta be skeptical a WHOLE WEEK around April 1st now?
ORIGINAL STORY:
Volkswagen looks to be changing the name of its US division to Voltswagen — as the famed maker of the Beetle and Microbus embraces electric vehicle technology, according to multiple reports.
It looks like the German car manufacturer spilled the beans by mistake on their website, which has since been removed. But it’s a smart move, a move we first got wind of when they revealed the electric ID Buzz concept a few years ago (pictured below). Rumor has it you’ll be able to purchase this vehicle in 2023 or 2024.
JUST IN: Volkswagen is expected to change the name of its operations in the U.S. to “Voltswagen of America,” emphasizing the German automaker’s electric vehicle efforts. https://t.co/3dItw7ztOW

Lollapalooza founder and Jane’s Addiction frontman Perry Farrell says he is hopeful that Chicago will be able to experience the festival in 2021, he said in a recent interview:
“If we can all stay on course, get vaccinated, stay socially distanced and masked up, maybe — please, God, maybe — we’ll get to go to Chicago in early August in one capacity or another,” he said. “If it’s not a giant Lollapalooza, it might be a half-capacity Lollapalooza or no Lollapalooza. But I want there to be a Lollapalooza in some capacity so bad.”

Every night at 9 pm I play you your next favorite song…hopefully. Its called New Music Now and this week I’m spotlighting the band Almost Monday. They got their start by playing surf shops around San Diego, which really is the most California thing ever. I think this tune has Cage the Elephant vibes and that’s a good thing. Check out Live Forever, and make sure to tune in to New Music Now every night at 9p.

Life is a precious thing. We cherish it, yet sometimes we take things for granted. A recent study showed that some of people’s biggest regrets by the end of their life are not living their dreams to the fullest, not sharing love, and not forgiving.

A year into the pandemic when our eyes were forced to look at screens more than ever before, 10% of Americans noted that they are now “constantly” online. According to a recent study, it’s people over the age of 30 that are fueling the digital addiction. 31% of adults in America are now online constantly with 48% checking in multiple times throughout the day.
How do you spend your time online? Shopping? Social media? Porn? Be honest, it’s a combination of the three. However you spend your time online, we want to know. Head on over to our Facebook and let us know!
Not since before The Great Recession has Chicago’s housing market been as hot as it is right now. Reportedly, there’s been an 18% increase in sales in the nine county metro area in January and February over the same months in 2020, as well as a 15% increase in the median sales price, from $235,000 to $270,000. It’s become a great market to sell in and a nearly impossible market for buyers.
Have you bought or sold your place recently? Tell us about that experience over on our Facebook page.
We’ve all pulled all-nighters before. Some of us have probably had the guts to go two full days without sleep. Comedian Chris Gethard once hosted his talk show after being awake for 36 hours. What happens to your body after not sleeping for nearly two weeks, though? One man was crazy enough to find out.

Does the outcome of your day hinge upon whether or not that giant ship is still stuck in the Suez Canal?
Don’t worry. The internet comes to your rescue again.
IsItStillStuck.com is a website that will give you a (relatively) instant update on the 200,000+ ton ship is blocking the man-made waterway that most quickly connects Asia to Europe — which has disrupted trade worldwide. One estimate says that this could cost $6-10 billion dollars in lost trade. If that’s true, 😮. — [eric]
Yes, the ship is still stuck. Follow along for live updates as crews scramble to free it: https://t.co/YBet9EbiHA

The Open Bottle is a craft beer shop and taproom. They are a husband and wife team that lived their dream and opened their business in 2015. They have both worked incredibly hard over the years to support their growing family, their staff, and the local neighborhoods. They have also recently opened up their second location which is impressive during the pandemic.

Just because two things taste good separately doesn’t mean they’re going to taste good together. But, um, maybe this won’t be bad?
Pepsi and Peeps just announced that they’ve teamed up to make a new soda for Easter. And it’s Pepsi . . . but with a Peeps marshmallow flavor added in.
It comes in a three-pack of cans that are yellow, pink, and blue.
The Peeps Pepsi won’t be going on sale in stores . . . if you want it, you’ll need to enter a contest on Twitter or Instagram.
You’re supposed to take a picture of yourself doing, quote, “your favorite springtime activities in a safe, socially distant manner” and then tag @Pepsi and use the hashtags #HangingWithMyPEEPS and #PepsiSweepstakes.
The entries are due next Wednesday. They’re going to give away a total of 3,170 three-packs according to the fine print, so you might have decent odds of winning one.
