Ali is Hosting PAWS “Tricks for Treats” This Thursday!

It’s National Volunteer Week and I’ll be hosting PAWS Chicago’s Tricks for Treats event this Thursday, April 22nd at 6pm.

It’s a great way to hang out with your furry friend, dog or cat, and teach them new skills with a PAWS Chicago animal behavior expert! Training classes are a great way to strengthen the bond with your pet, and I can’t wait to teach Reggie a new trick or two.

Here’s the link to participate!
PAWS Chicago is the city’s largest No Kill shelter that finds homes for more than 5,000 dogs and cats each year.

Do NOT Panic … There is a Major Bubble Tea Shortage!!!!

The newest pandemic-related shortage is bubble tea. WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO!!!!!

The boba balls you get in it are made with ingredients from Asia, and the shipping issues have made it impossible for supply to meet the demand.  The owners of a company in California that makes boba balls talked about it on Instagram, because they don’t want people blaming them or stores for running out.

Chicago Carjacking Doesn’t Go as Planned

The KQX Team did some investigative research about the near-victim in this incident. We’ve discovered that he’s only here to chew bubblegum and kick ass – and he just happens to be out of bubblegum. Seriously, this was such a close call.

Chicago, we love you, but let’s stop carjacking our neighbors. If we don’t look out for each other, no one else will.

Did You See the Salacious Video Between Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian?

There is an art to posting about your significant other’s birthday on social media. The balance between candid vs. staged photos, how far back in the relationship the photos go, and the caption are all crucial elements of a birthday post. Travis Barker ignored what any man previously had done and posted this insane video instead.

What’s going on with Riot Fest?

There is good and bad Riot Fest news.  Unfortunately, 2020 then 2021 headliner My Chemical Romance have decided to postpone all touring plans until 2022, including Riot Fest.  The good news is, there WILL be a Riot Fest this September, and the rad staff are working around the clock to bring us “a sick lineup” that Riot Mike is proud of.  Also, MCR will headline Riot Fest 2022.  In the meantime, information regarding the lineup announcement, transfers and refund scenario are addressed in Riot Mike’s statement below.  See you in Douglass Park.  <3 Lauren
