Bisexuals Are More Likely to Smoke Menthols, New Study Finds
Rutgers University has completed a new study that finds that bisexual women are more likely to smoke menthols. The study, published this week in the journal Nicotine & Tobacco Research, analyzed national data from 2015-2019 of respondents 18 years old and older by sex and sexual orientation.
According to the study, “Researchers found that 54 percent of bisexual female smokers preferred menthol cigarettes, and 50 percent of lesbian/gay female smokers preferred them, according to the university. That compares with 39 percent of smokers generally.”

‘Tiger King’ Joe Exotic to be re-sentenced
An appeals court has ordered that infamous ‘Tiger King’ Joe Exotic be given a lighter sentence for the murder-for-hire plot outlined in the hit Netflix docuseries. Joe Exotic – real name Joseph Maldonado-Passage, was given a 22-year sentence in 2020 for hiring people to kill his rival Carole Baskin. But on Wednesday, the court ruled that his sentence had been calculated wrong, and should be closer to 17.5 years.
Don’t expect Joe Exotic to be going free anytime soon – the court upheld his murder-for-hire convictions as well as a separate conviction for violating the Endangered Species Act.
Antonio Banderas lassoes a role in ‘Indiana Jones 5’
Antonio Banderas (Mask of Zorro, The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard, Desparado) has been added to the cast of the in-production fifth “Indiana Jones” movie, starring Harrison Ford.
The movie’s scheduled to snake its way into theaters on July 29, 2022.

U.S. News has been assigned with the task of figuring out where the best cities to live in the US is, and there are three Illinois cities that finished very well, according to their metrics. Peoria, Chicago and Rockford are now listed as number 87, 102 and 133, respectively, as the best places to live in the United States.
Per U.S. News, Peoria received a score of 6.5 on a 10-point scale.

Kidney Transplant Done On Wrong Patient
No big deal, but an Ohio hospital gave a patient a kidney transplant. Also, not that it’s a big deal, but that kidney transplant wasn’t supposed to go to that patient. Again, it’s fine, but this is (kind of) an issue and two people from the hospital have been placed on administrative leave as a result. Again, there’s no need to panic, but someone now has a kidney that they didn’t need.
“We have offered our sincerest apologies to these patients and their families,” University Hospitals said in the statement.
Naked Woman Trapped Between Two Buildings, Rescued by Firefighters
In Santa Ana, California, a woman got trapped between two buildings while she was wearing nothing. The woman was stuck between two walls in an opening no more than a foot wide, according to Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Thanh Nguyen. Police had said the woman was naked, and the captain confirmed that appeared to be the case.

Man Gets Stuck in Traffic, Jumps Off Of Bridge
With a 10-car pileup awaiting him, a man in Louisiana decided to bounce from his car and leap into the river below. The man said, “When I hit the water, my shoulder went up, I kind of hurt my shoulder, but I started swimming, I couldn’t get back to the bank because the current was way too strong.”
