Illinois Sees Record High Marijuana Sales in July

Thanks to the return of Lollapalooza and the impact of Hot Girl Summer, Illinois saw nearly $128 million roll in in July, making it the biggest marijuana month in the history of the state. It was the first time weed was legal in Lollapalooza’s 30-year-history. Some dispensaries, such as places in River North or the West Loop, saw sales increases of up to 50%.

So far in 2021, Illinois has generated more money off marijuana than all of last year.

Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell nearly gave us a heart attack when he told the press his heart attack-inducing Starbucks order. Seriously, how is this man alive? How is this man able to coach a football team and not on the toilet permanently?

Chicago-Area Home Prices Continue to Climb, Spikes in Gary and Zion

Chicago-area home prices are continuing to climb higher as more people adopt permanent work-from-home and hybrid work hours. Chicago was one of the top metro areas that people fled from during the pandemic, and as a result, prices in the suburbs have soared.

In 2020, people who moved went to areas where houses were tens of thousands of dollars cheaper and 33-square feet larger on average, according to United Van Lines data analyzed by Zillow.

Would You Pay $3,000 to Zap Your Bits With a Laser to Have An Orgasm?

It doesn’t hurt to ask, right? Femilift is a frickin’ laser beam that found that in just five minutes, the treatment could boost a woman’s libido. In the same way you would zap off hair, this zaps your parts into a tingling sensation as it boosts your libido. Women, especially after having children, have often struggled with low libidios.

Happy sex-having, everyone!

Are Alligators the Most Terrifying Animal?

Seriously, what is scarier than an alligator? These beats escaped their enclosure and all their trainer could do was nervously laugh as she realized she was one wrong step away from being chomped into bits. They are slimy, they are creepy, and they are terrifying.

Young the Giant Nail a Blink-182 Cover

Here’s my favorite moment from Lollapalooza weekend.  Young the Giant played an aftershow at the House of Blues, and the last song that was played over the PA before the band took the stage was “I Miss You” from Blink-182.  Obviously that is an all time sing along so the crowd was going crazy.  Then YTG jumped on stage, yelled “We missed you!” and then proceeded to go right back in to “I Miss You.”  It was so great to hear Samir and the guys back on stage, and even more great to hear a room full of music lovers finally be able to sing “where are youuuuuuuuuu” at the top of our lungs.  Check out this video below!

Whose Karen Is It?

You’re not a hero, you’re an a-hole! This Karen is anti-animal and anti-common sense and she’s not afraid to let anyone know about it. Someone sent us this social media post and our jaw hit the floor. The thought process is mind-blowing.

Man Ditches Date After Seeing She “Belongs to the Streets”

After finding out that his date was scoring free dinners with “suckers” that were paying for her lavish meals, this dude dipped mid-date, leaving the girl with a bill worth hundreds of dollars. We have to respect his initiative to get up and leave and his friend who hit him up in the first place.

Would you have stuck it out and paid for her dinner? The conversation lives on Facebook!

Flight Passenger Allegedly Gropes Two Flight Attendants, Gets Taped to Seat

A man flying on Frontier allegedly touched two women’s breasts and then yelled about how his parents are worth $2 million dollars. Weird flex, bro. He then tried to throw hands with a male flight attendant, which led to him getting duct taped to a chair.

Frontier Airlines released a statement saying, “During a flight from Philadelphia to Miami on July 31, a passenger made inappropriate physical contact with a flight attendant and subsequently physically assaulted another flight attendant. As a result, the passenger needed to be restrained until the flight landed in Miami and law enforcement arrived. The flight attendants will be, as required in such circumstances, relieved of flying pending completion of investigation of the events.”

The ‘WAP’ Interpreter Went Hard at Lollapalooza

No one went harder at Lollapalooza than the ‘WAP’ interpreter, who flawlessly signed lyrics like “Gobble me, swallow me, drip down the side of me” and “I wanna gag, I wanna choke. I want you to touch that lil’ dangly thing that swing in the back of my throat.”

Naperville teens have nothing on her. She’s our Lolla MVP!
