Offensive coordinator coach Lou Traverso of the Terra Linda Trojans in California, wants to celebrate the offensive line when they make a good ‘pancake block.’ If you get laid out, but you’re doing your job, then you get rewarded… with delicious syrup! What a genius. With a coach like this, I bet more people would want to play football. Love this man and his dedication to keep the boys motivated, with sugar!!
This video begins with a girl chilling with no makeup on. Then comes the glow up. Some might call it that, others might call it a ‘transformation.’ I still keep watching to make sure this is the SAME person. How is this real?! Makeup is an incredible thing y’all. We’ve been waiting a long time to get some new Jack White music in our ears, and thankfully that wait is coming to an end soon. Jack White has announced that he will be dropping not one, but TWO(!) albums next year via his Third Man Records label. “Fear Of The Dawn” will drop April 8th, while Entering Heaven Alive will hit July 22nd. White also released the music video for Taking Me Back, which you can see for yourself below.

On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, the violence and bloodshed of World War I finally came to an end. Over 100 years later, we’re forever indebted to the soldiers that stepped up on the frontlines during that war and every conflict that has required American intervention since. Today, take a moment to think about how fragile our freedom is. Without the brave men and women of the United States military, we wouldn’t be able to do what we love.

Yes, you have to do something cute or creative or interesting when you’re doing the grand entrance at a wedding. People love disco moves, anything choreographed, and this bridesmaid and groomsman went for the gymnastics route. It looks pretty tame in the beginning, and it would’ve been pretty rad… had they landed it! But sticking landings in high heels probably after some champagne does not go well together. The fall is epic though. It’s definitely the only thing people will remember about this wedding. Bring em’ out!
A woman is in a lot of hot… water after she threw scalding hot soup in the face of a restaurant worker in Texas. Apparently, the customer had called to complain on Sunday afternoon, that the soup was SO hot that the plastic lid melted shut. The cashier, offered her a refund on the phone or a new meal and was very apologetic. The the woman came in to the restaurant, Sol de Jalisco restaurant in Temple, and started yelling profanities at the cashier and kitchen staff. Then the woman did the unthinkable and threw the soup in the cashier’s face. Below is video of the incident and the cashier’s first hand experience. Poor girl!
This is what love should be! Two Amish girls from Return to Amish are on their way to the airport in a taxi in this clip. Breaking all of the rules, obviously. The girl in the front obviously has a GIANT crush on the driver, Daniel. She knows a lot about him, like the fact that he drank Drano at 18 months old and has ‘a lot of scars from it.’ Hey, these things happen! But she doesn’t care though, she likes him for him. He got the hint that she’s into him because she always takes his cab. At the end of the clip, you can see him giving her his digits! Yes, girl! The way he does it reminds me of being 16 again. Remember how you used to get a number back the day with out a cell phone? Napkins, cards, pagers, and the good ol’ pen on hand. How cute!!

Working at NASA would be pretty sweet. A man named David Miller got one by accident. He interviewed for a position to work with planes, as he is an engineer, then on the phone interview they offered him another job working on something else, they didn’t tell him what IT was though. Weeks later he got second interview and then suddenly he moved across the country for the job, the only problem was, they never told him which one it was for, the airplane job or the other one that he had no idea about. He didn’t find out what he was going to do until his first day on the job, wild. And that’s how he got a job at NASA! Here he is describing the situation.
This Friday the legendary PAWS black tie, pet-friendly event is happening at the Drake Hotel! Tickets are still available to purchase. This benefit is meant for humans and their pets. The humans will be treated to a fancy buffet, raffles, dancing, a live auction, a silent auction and more. Animals will be treated to a divine dinner served up in crystal goblets, because nothing is too good them! There will also be a dog spa for the four-legged.
PAWS was founded in 1997 and their mission is to create No Kill communities and end the overpopulation of homeless animals. In 2020, they saved 98.17% of the animals that went through their program. They placed 2,834 animals in foster homes, and served 1,400 pets in under-served communities. Not to mention, they performed over 1,000 spay/neuter surgeries. A guy in River North got married recently, but he was showing off his new (well it was his Dad’s) wedding ring on the special day, and it came off! Then it fell down a sewer drain! It sounds made up, but it happened. I can’t imagine how he broke that news to his new wifey. ‘Uh, honey, you know that thingy that symbolizes our forever lasting love and dedication to each other? Yeah, I lost it already.’ Of all the things to lose on your wedding day? Is that a sign? Thankfully the Chicago Fire Department stepped in and saved the day, literally. They got the ring out in a short amount of time, and the couple got some fantastic memories too. Thanks Engine 98! They owe ya!
I’ve thought that I have a “good side” for years. My left side. People might tease me, that’s fine. I can see an actual difference ok?! Mariah Carey thinks the same thing. She only lets the cameramen get her left side too during live shots. At least she did that at the VH1 Divas concert… such a diva move! Anyway, I know I’m not alone here. It turns out that there’s actually a scientific reason for this phenomenon. Emotional Lateralization is the idea that the two sides of our brain process and control emotions differently. Or some refer to this more simply as “left-side bias.” The right side of our brain controls emotion more and expression, but it also controls the LEFT side of your face. So if you’re a lefty, like myself, you’re using the right side of brain more, again the side that handles emotions… this is all in theory by the way. Showing more emotion on one side of your face makes people think that it’s more attractive or revealing, hence they like the left side better. Of course, that’s not to say that no one likes the right side of their face more. There are people that do. That’s why this theoretical at this point, but still very interesting is it not? Home entertainment is a huge category for most people, obviously. Pizza ovens, bread makers, home gyms, bikes, they all fit in this category according to a home insurers. The insurer Aviva surveyed 4000 people and a lot of those participants had given away some of the larger items they’ve purchased because they weren’t using them, just collecting dust.
They also said that since 2020, a lot of claims have gone up, say hot tubs for instance. They saw a 188% increase in claims for accidental damage. At least those are getting used! Just know you’re not the only one who sat at home in 2020 and did some retail therapy. Hey, you probably saved a ton by not going out. That’s how you can justify that pool that you swam in once.
