Girl In Red did something life changing for a fan at her Metro show

Our girl, Girl In Red, played a sold out show at the Metro last week, but that’s not the story here. Marie found a special way to connect with fans during the show. She was told that someone in the front row named Allie wanted to come out to her mom as bi. Girl in Red helped by calling her mom from the stage and doing it for her for everyone to hear. Allie’s mother was in disbelief of what was going on but was also extremely happy and excited for her daughter. The crowd erupted with cheers and we can only imagine what the rest of night was like for Allie. Go girl!

This song lives rent free in my brain.

I Like music, you like music, and this song started showing up in my Tiktok feed a few weeks ago and has been stuck in my head ever since. Just like the oringinal did, back when it was first released by Suzanne Vega back in the 80’s. I really dig the back beat and the raspy vocals. Check this out, its AnnenMayKantereit x Giant Rooks covering “Tom’s Diner.”

OJ Simpson says Will Smith was “wrong”, but “he understands the sentiment”

God Bless Juice. No one is better at Twitter, and that’s partially because the man never types. In two minutes, OJ Simpson covers an array of topics ranging from football to politics to pop culture. Of course, people were knocking down Simpson’s door to get his take on The Slap, and per usual, he scored a touchdown with his response.

See you next time, Twitter World.

Do you get horny for historical sex scenes?

The Sex Research Department at Brian, Ali, & Justin have been noticing one major trend lately; people love old timey sex scenes. From Bridgerton to Game of Thrones, people love watching romance from a time when smallpox was still the deadliest disease known to man.

Dr. Justin Lehmiller notes, “Historical sex fantasies are also more common among those who fantasize about sex in exotic places in general — such as on a beach or in nature — and they are especially common among those who fantasize about sex in fantastical locations, such as in outer space or in a science-fiction setting.”

This now begs the question, do ruffled collars and fluffy shirts get you going? The conversation lives on Facebook!

Don’t like going to the dentist? Here’s your chance to protest

If you’re like us and don’t like junior-doctors shoving their fingers in your mouth for an exuberant rate, join in the growing movement (as it can only go up from where it’s at now) of protesting like this man is. A man in California has been wailing on his guitar and claiming that “Western Dental sucks” after the pain he suffered.

It turns out, this is not the first time that the man has used his guitar in a form of protest. He shredded outside of his former employer’s office when he was owed money…and he ended up getting that money. Hopefully the guitar solos eventually end the beef between this man and Western Dental.

How do you deal with catcallers?

Women just want to exist in an environment that doesn’t constantly make them feel threatened or intimated. Unfortunately, our modern world often fails them. Luckily for us, there are a few glimmers of hope, including this one woman who has taken the power back when it comes to men approaching her on the street.

@caffinatedkitti

I keep seeing comments to stay safe. Bold of y’all to assume I’m the one who needs to be cautious on who I speak to #outcreepthecreeper #fyp #women #streetharassment #comeback #WomenOwnedBusiness

Will Smith has apologized to Chris Rock

Following the single greatest moment in live television history, the now-Oscar winning Will Smith has apologized to Chris Rock after paint-brushing funnyman Chris Rock across the face. Smith said, “Violence in all of its forms is poisonous and destructive. My behavior at last night’s Academy Awards was unacceptable and inexcusable. Jokes at my expense are part of the job, but a joke about Jada’s medical condition was too much for me to bear and I reacted emotionally,” Smith wrote. “I would like to publicly apologize to you, Chris. I was out of line and I was wrong. I am embarrassed and my actions were not indicative of the man I want to be. There is no place for violence in a world of love and kindness.”

The question still remains – do you think Smith was justified for doing it in the first place? The conversation lives on Facebook!

Will Smith hit Chris Rock at the Oscars?!

The producer of the Oscars, Will packer tweeted late last night- “Welp…I said it wouldn’t be boring #Oscars.” Chris Rock made a joke about Jada Pinkett’s hair style and Will Smith came to her defense by jumping on stage and slapping Chris Rock. Rock said her hair looked like Demi Moore’s character in “G.I. Jane.” Jada, who has been vocal about her issues with hair loss due to a condition called alopecia — did not laugh at Rock’s remark. Rock was shocked that he got slapped by Will Smith. “Keep my wife’s name out your f— mouth.” An LAPD spokesperson said the department is not investigating. Rock said backstage, “I just got hit by Mohammed Ali and didn’t get a scratch.”
