The Return of Q101!
WEEZER — Coming soon!

A woman was worried her dog might have a medical issue because her K9 friend kept passing gas… and it was BAD. She said it smelled worse than rotten eggs so she took her dog to the vet to see what was going on. The vet had no clues after a lot of testing. They changed the food and that didn’t fix the problem. After several weeks, and thousands of dollars in vet bills, the truth came out. Her hubby had been blaming it on the dog the entire time! She kicked him out of the house for the night and you better believe he’s paying for half the vet bills. He ended up having to go to the doctor and changing HIS diet. Karma.

You saw the video of the guy who caught a ball while holding his baby and drinking a beer. Not everyone has that much talent. Like this man. He gave it his all when trying to catch a foul ball but he lost his beer and it all went downhill from there. Hope it was worth it!
“Weird: The AL Yankovic story” will debut on Roku this fall. It’s the biopic of Weird Al and they tapped actor Danielle Radcliffe to play Al. It’s an interesting casting choice, but maybe after watching the trailer you’ll change your mind.
Chicago is helping residents pay for transportation in a lottery system. Over the course of several months Chicago Moves will end up providing $12.5 million in transportation relief in the form of gas cards and prepaid transit cards. Today is the deadline for May to sign up. You need to be a Chicago resident, at least 18 years old, have a current valid City sticker with correct mailing information for the vehicle, and if you’re not selected for the drawing this month, you’ll automatically be entered into the next month.

You asked for it, thus you shall receive. Here are the infamous Brian, Ali, & Justin “HELLO?” montages for your listening pleasure.
A woman on TikTok has caused a stir because she said she’ll cancel an Instacart order if a man is the one taking her order. Points were made.
Do you think she’s sexist or is she smart? The conversation lives on Facebook!
Here are some of the more sensational secrets unearthed about the FBI, Federal Bureau of Investigation. It’s their job to be sneaky and they have a ton of things that are confidential, most things they can’t tell their friends and family. But somehow some of these secrets snuck through the cracks!
Here are more disgusting facts to freak people out. These are random, but I can guarantee you don’t know any of these things and they will have you looking at word differently. The belly button one got me, and who knew butterflies could be so vicious!
Pretending to call your parents from jail and asking for bail is more than risky. This girl did it anyway to her dad and his response was 15/10. You’d hope that your parents would react like this if you had to make this phone call from Cook County jail. Not only is he understanding, he’s also ready to find bail money. She needs to get him an extra nice gift for Father’s Day now for putting him through that.
According to County Health Rankings and Roadmaps, DuPage County is the healthiest in Illinois! They use factors like, tobacco use, employment, and percentage of the population that is uninsured. They also calculate things like length of life, and quality of life. Four metro counties made it into the top ten. DuPage #1, Lake #5, Kendall #6, McHenry #8. There are 102 counties in the state.

Korn has covered Radiohead, and Pink Floyd, but this might be their best yet. In this video you can see them pretending to be Backstreet Boys singing their smash hit from 1999, “I Want It That Way.” Will they come out with a covers album dedicated to pop songs, probably not, but it would be cool!

Sometimes all you need is a few minutes of sleep when you’re dead tired. But who can do that? You’ve heard your grandpa say he would take a 10 minute power nap, but he didn’t have the noise in his head that we do today. Or did he? There is a way to nap really quick that’s actually used in the military. This Navy Seal breaks it down , take notes, and get some much needed Z’s! You only need 8 min!
In 2019, the national average of life expectancy was about 78.8 years. Not bad. Hawaii had the highest, with 80 years and Mississippi was the lowest at 74.4 years. A lot of the lower rated states are in the south due to economic factors. Illinois falls into the second highest category at 78.4- 79.5. We can live with that!
Michael Scott was not the originator of “That’s What She Said.” In fact, it’s first documented use was with Chevy Chase on SNL in the 1970’s. Then it was used again in the movie Wayne’s World, and made popular again by our favorite TV boss, Michael Scott. He made it so popular you probably can’t get through the week without hearing it once… especially if you’re friends are immature.
Do you ever wonder how much toilet paper you actually use in a year? The average American uses about 141 rolls! It’s no surprise that the U.S. ranks high in toilet paper usage across the globe, but we’re not number one. Portugal ranks the highest for overall in a lifetime. China has the most rolls per year as to be expected given their population, 4 billion miles of the stuff each year, whoa!
