This week in STREETS, it’s the age-old question submitted by one of our listeners:
Is she the Jerk for this? Her child’s father wants to be in their lives again…
Joice Figueiró was given permission from her doctor to attend a Metallica show last week with her husband. She was very pregnant, 39 weeks, but didn’t want to miss her favorite band. During “Enter Sandman” her son decided to enter the world. They called the medical team over and she had the baby lying down in the handicapped area. She and her son were taken the hospital and the baby is happy and healthy. She’s not going to name him “Sandman.”

The device that took us from CDs and cassettes to digital — is dead.
Apple only sells one version of the iPod still — the iPod touch — and they just announced that when the current inventory is gone, it’s gone.
To say that the gadget changed the way we listened to music is an understatement — it is estimated that over 450 million have been sold since its inception.
Sure, MP3 players had been around for quite a few years when Apple launched it. But the company saw a suite spot between tiny flash-memory units with little song capacity and the bulky hard-drive like models of the day. Between that and the ease of acquiring your music through the iTunes store, the device became ubiquitous.

Mercury is moving into retrograde and it’s time to double check every little detail, prepare for difficulties with electronics, and you might hear from an ex. We hate Mercury Retrograde! McDonald’s knows that the universe is harder to work with during a retrograde, so they’re offering up a free McChicken or McDouble with the purchase of medium fries through the app today, assuming you don’t have any difficulties with your phone, such a Mercury Retrograde move!

Whether you believe in reincarnation or not, there have been hundreds of documented cases of this happening around the world. Kids telling their parents about their previous lives?! Yes, this is a thing. This mom had her daughter tell her that she passed away in 9/11. She was able to tell her specifics about her previous life and now her current mom is looking for what might be her daughter from another life. Whoa.

How much of a cinema buff are you? Could you look at one still shot and guess the movie?
That’s exactly how the game Framed works. You are given a single freeze-frame from a movie and six chances to get it right. If you miss on screen shot #1, you’ll get a different image to try and figure it out. Miss on #2? Another random image from the film. And so on….
The game resets daily to keep you coming back for more, ala Wordle.
