What’s the worst thing you’ve ever eaten by accident?

Life…is gross. We live in a cruel existence. We’re constantly consuming insects, rodent filth, and dirt, per the FDA, who claim that, “Young children will put almost anything in their mouths. A series of stool-sample surveys in the 1990s determined that the average child digests as much as 500 milligrams of soil—about a thimbleful—daily. That works out to a few ounces per year.”

The verdict of the Johnny Depp & Amber Heard defamation trial is in

At last, our long national nightmare is over. No more cringeworthy speeches, no more TikTok edits, and no more TMI from our least favorite couple ever. A jury has found both Amber Heard and Johnny Depp liable for defamation in their lawsuits against each other. Per CNN, “The jury awarded Depp $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million dollars in punitive damages. The jury awarded Heard $2 million in compensatory damages and no money for punitive damages. Depp sought $50 million in damages and Heard sought $100 million. Punitive damages in the state of Virginia are capped at $350,000, so the judge reduced the punitive damages award to that amount.”

Toe-tapping songs are good for your brain!

A study done in Japan found that toe-tapping, songs that you love are good for your brain! Specifically your pre-frontal cortex, the part that is related to your short-term memory, planning, self-control, and abstract thinking. The one catch is that it only works for songs that you know and love. A song that you’ve never heard won’t have this positive effect. So, put on your favorite your favorite song, and play it twice! It’s so nice!
