You’re spending more than $300 a month on THIS!

Jack White once showed up to a neighborhood BBQ — and no one knew who he was

Jack White once showed up to a neighborhood potluck — and no one knew who he was.

To be fair, the musician DOES spend a lot of time on the road. And the neighborhood had little interaction with Jack other than occasionally hearing guitar coming faintly from the garage of their reclusive neighbor — who had a gated historical home in Nashville.

But in 2015, he joined the annual event. And the story (and PICTURE) is amazing. Check it out here.

How much money makes you rich?!

Most people want to be rich when they get older… or right now! But what is “rich.” Everyone has different definitions of how much money that would take.

Gen Zers said $394,000 a year . . . Millennials, $721,000 . . . Gen Xers, $887,000 . . . and Baby Boomers said just over $1 MILLION a year in income. Pretty much everyone agreed you’re also “rich” if you’ve got around $1 million in savings. DANG!

51% of Americans believe they’ll be rich someday, according to the survey. And 53% said that regardless of what you’ve heard, money CAN buy happiness.

The Illinois Corn Maze is going to switch to hemp!

The Great Godfrey Corn Maze is changing it up this fall. Instead of a corn maze, they’ll be using hemp. It’s easier and cheaper to grow than corn. Last year, the corn maze had to be shut down due to unseasonable weather, so organizers started looking for different options. The corn didn’t grow as tall as it should have last year, but hemp can get up to 12 feet high. Now you’ll really get lost in the maze!

Kurt’s stuff sold at auction: a guitar, a car, and a painting of Michael Jackson

USA TODAY NETWORK

NOTE: This is an update of the original article posted before the auction took place.

A bunch of Kurt Cobain’s stuff sold at auction this weekend at Julien’s, and the stuff — well, it is quite varied. To say the LEAST.

The guitar he used in the “Smells Like Teen Spirit” music video expected to get around $750K. Instead, the owner of the Indianapolis Colts bid $4.5 million on the 1969 Fender Mustang. Wow.

Someone is the proud owner of Kurt’s 1965 Dodge Dart ($375,000). An original painting of Michael Jackson sold as well ($87,500). Plus a bunch of NFTs and other Cobain stuff.

You can click on this link here to see the haul (just search keyword COBAIN)….or better yet, just look at all the stuff sold. Chances are you will recognize a few of the musicians!
