A 67-year-old crowd surfer was dropped at a Killers show
At their show in Manchester, Brandon Flowers stopped the show to see if a 67-year-old crowd surfer who had been dropped was OK. He ran down to where the fans were and talked to the older man named, Billy. He told Flowers, “I’m enjoyin’ mi’ self!” The Killers kicked back into their set, but they’ll never forget ol’ Billy! Man found guilty of putting flowers on fiancée’s grave
An Alabama man has been found guilty and awaits sentencing for leaving flowers on his fiancée’s grave.
To be more specific, Winston Hagans was leaving a custom-made flower box and blooms — which was against city rules & considered litter.
It would have been okay with Auburn Parks & Rec officials if he had family approval — but tt was her father that signed the warrant for his arrest, admitting during the trial that he “did not approve” of the relationship.
The man was directed to pay $300 in fines and will avoid jailtime if he agrees to stop.

The Angels have not been good lately, and are willing to try anything to break the losing streak. Someone thought they should change their walk-up music… to all Nickelback songs on Wednesday night. Did it work?! No. Of course not, they suck! But it certainly is awesome watching a dude try to get the crowd hyped with “Photograph.” Laugh all you want, it’s more money in Nickelback’s pocket.
The Golden Nugget Pancake House in Old Irving Park closes after 52 years
The Golden Nugget Pancake House closed Sunday after 52 years! The location at 4229 W. Irving Park Road was once a 24-hour restaurant, but due to fewer customers, and difficulty finding staff, the eatery closed Sunday. A note on the door let customers know what locations their favorite workers were moved to, but many will miss weekend breakfast there and having a place where everyone knew their name. There are still four remaining locations in the city: 2406 W. Diversey Ave., 3959 W. Diversey Ave., 3001 N. Central Ave. and 1765 W. Lawrence Ave.
