Check out Oklahoma first baseman Blake Robertson do anything and everything to make the catch. He charges right over the railing before the dugout and does a full on flip. Watch it here from all angles…
The 1950’s were a great time for U.S. People had more purchasing power, and more people were in the workforce, including women. In 1957, the minimum wage was $1. You heard me. But, it worked out with the cost of everything. An average office worker would get anywhere from $2,000 to $6,000 a year- or $20,000- $60,000 today. 1 in 16 people did “blue-collar” work and made around $3 an hour or $63,000 today. The minimum wage now is $7.25.
The higher paying jobs today? Anesthesiologists- they’re getting around $131 an hour or $261,000 per year. Not too shabby. Next on the list is CEO- they’re making on average of $193,00 annually, and finally pilots are bringing around $175,000 a year. There you have it. Pick one of these three, and you should be gooooood.

7’3″ Boban Marjanovic showed kids at a Maverick’s basketball camp who is boss! They have to learn somehow! He’s not going to sugarcoat everything and pretend like basketball is easy! He was blocking shots left and right with zero effort. Kids were falling down! He taught them an important lesson though, always go for the ball no matter what level you are. Yeah, that’s it.
We’re getting the first parts of the lineup for what the Foo Fighters are calling an “all-star tribute” to their late drummer, Taylor Hawkins.
Among the artists that will be playing the Los Angeles version of the concert on September 27th with the Foo Fighters will be Josh Homme (Queens Of The Stone Age), Geddy Lee & Alex Lifeson (Rush), Stewart Copeland (The Police), Joan Jett, Miley Cyrus, Gene Simmons (KISS), Chad Smith (Nickelback), as well as Alanis Morisette and Chris Chaney, whom he played with before joining the band.
There is also a U.K. version of the show that month with a completely separate lineup. Tickets for both shows go on sale June 17th.
