Bernard Marcus, one of the minds behind the orange hardware giants, has passed away at the age of 95. Marcus passed away in Boca Raton, Florida. Marcus is best known as one of the founders of Home Depot, teaming up with financier Ken Langone and businessman Arthur Blank to create from scratch a company that employs nearly a half-million people working in thousands of stores across the country.
Home Depot was born and has grown into a $390 billion market-value company.

According to new research released by Orikin, Chicago’s streak of being the “rattiest” city has continued for a 10th straight year. According to the company, Chicago’s “infrastructure and environment” are appealing to rats, along with the prevalence of alleys, which allow rodents plenty of hiding places and plenty of garbage that they can eat.
Chicago beat out Los Angeles and New York for the top spot.
