Time to see a Rock N’ Roll Hall Of Famer — Marky and the rest of the Ramones were inducted in 2002 and he continues to keep the spirit of the band alive with his Blitzkrieg.
Their setlists are chalk full of tunes from a group that earned “100 Greatest Artists Of All Time” status from Rolling Stone.

Aug. 8th was the final sunset after 8pm, now, the final sunset of 2022 after 7pm is going to be tonight. Where did summer go?! We will lose nearly two minutes of daylight per day for the rest of the month and on September 27th, there will be fewer than 12 hours of daylight. Don’t worry, it won’t be until December 16th when the earliest sunset happens on the 16th at 4:22 pm.
Metra trains to run as scheduled today!
There was a possibility of a strike between union rail workers and railroad companies looming this week, so Metra cancelled 4 busy Chicago-area routes for tonight. However, an agreement was reached late last night to stop the the strike and continue service on all trains. Your commute will not be disrupted!
Metra’s post on the Facebook said, “We are greatly relieved that we will be able to continue to provide the safe and reliable service that you deserve and that you rely upon. Please accept our apologies for this week of uncertainty and anxiety, and our thanks for your patience and understanding. The late Thursday evening trains that had been canceled by BNSF and Union Pacific in anticipation of a strike will now run as scheduled”
Tow truck escorts alligator out of neighborhood
A HUGE 10 foot alligator was found in a neighborhood outside of Houston. It was so massive that they had to hire a tow truck to remove it! This happens about 35 times a year in surrounding suburbs when gators go looking for another water source.

A Detroit furniture store caused some controversy with this commercial, showing the owner being birthed. No, I did not type that wrong. In it he claims that “…I was born for this.” The spot was censored for TV, but we have the full version below, so you’re welcome, err we apologize.

A stripper was hired to perform at a nursing home!
A state run nursing home in Taiwan is under fire for hiring a stripper to entertainment some of the residents. Someone filmed it, put it on social media, and now it’s spreading like wildfire! The nursing home has since apologized, saying that they hired her to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival. They said didn’t mean to offend anyone and will be more careful with hiring entertainment in the future. You can see the video of a grandpa having the time of his life below!

Ahoy Brian Ali & Justin I know you guys are busy so I will just get right to it. I hate hate hate my daughters boyfriend. He’s cheated on her, he’s relapsed a couple times and he treats her like crap. He can’t keep a job, he’s the definition of a loser. Last night my daughter calls me all excited because he proposed to her. She knows I’m not a huge fan of him but I’ve never fully told her my feelings and don’t know if I should. When I was raising her I knew someday she would meet somebody and get married but never in a million years did I think it would be with someone like him. Have I mentioned that I hate him? What do I do here? Should I tell her my true feelings or just play nice like I have been the last two years? As of right now the only push back I’ve given them is that I told her I was disappointed he didn’t have a talk with me before asking her hand in marriage. I love my daughter with all my heart and I will do anything in the world to protect her but I am terrified I will lose her if I come on too strong. You guys should’ve heard this jerk call me dad last night on the phone and jokingly ask me how much money I’m going to give them for the wedding and if I’m going to pay for it. What’s your guys divorce attorney‘s name? If I’m going to pay for anything it’s going to be putting him on retainer. Sunday’s storm brought flash floods to the city, more than we’ve seen in years. The sewer system was overwhelmed causing water spouts all over the city. This is what happened on Lawrence Ave!
A successful ‘burying of the booze’ before a festival
This man managed to bury, in his secret hiding spot, several water bottles filled with vodka so that when he attended this festival, he wouldn’t have to pay the $17 per drink. Can you blame him? This way he got a buzz on and some new friends! This is a real man of genius!
