In preparation for the 25th anniversary reissue of their album Nimrod, Green Day dug into the archives and found a previously unreleased recording of the Elvis Costello classic, ‘Alison’.
The band demoed this song during the Nimrod recording sessions.
Prior to this, the trio released a never-heard-before demo of an unreleased song, “You Irritate Me“. The full anniversary edition of the album will be released on January 27 as a digital release, a 5xLP release, and a 3xCD release.
