Cranberries singer Dolores O’Riordan died by drowning due to alcohol intoxication, according to a ruling from coroner Shirley Radcliffe at Westminster Coroner’s Court.

The announcement, made yesterday, said O’Riordan had four times the legal alcohol limit for driving when she died in her hotel bathtub.

O’Riordan died on January 15, 2018.
