Cincinnati Reds announcer suspended after using anti-gay slur on broadcast

Thom Brennaman, the play by play announcer for the Cincinnati Reds baseball team was caught on mic using an anti-gay slur.
He apparently was not aware that he was live on the air, but still that language can not be tollerated.

Brennaman quickly apologized on air then was immediately removed from the broadcast during the 5th inning of a double header game, and suspended indefinitely.

The only funny thing we can take away from this is that he had to make a life changing apology while also announcing a home run that was demolished out into the stands.

The Reds organization and Fox Sports Ohio have not yet made a final decision on what their plans are going forward with Thom Brennaman. He will remained suspended until they come to a conclusion.
