…but in South Korea.
Games are back on in South Korea, where the Korea Baseball Organization played five games yesterday.
That said, the games are definitely a reflection of the pandemic times:
- They played to empty stadiums (no fans allowed).
- No spitting is allowed. So much for players sticking that wad of chew in their mouths.
- Masks are required for umps and coaches and optional for players.
- Media and players have mandatory temperature checks before being allowed in.
If you’re missing your baseball fix, ESPN’s made a deal to air six games a week here.
