Take a guess as to how much you would pay ComEd for the “Christmas Vacation” light display?

Watched National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation on the eve of Christmas.  Guess I need to pay attention more to my surroundings:

If you were auto-paying the bill for Clark Griswold’s 25,000 twinkle-lights, ComEd calculates it would cost you about $3700 for one month.  Now, that’s if you were using the old-school incandescent bulbs.  They also show the significant money saved by using LEDs — which would leave you a lot of cash leftover for a dose of super-spiked eggnog.  — [eric]
