Update: Red Hot Chili Pepper’s Anthony Keidis fighting the flu

So earlier today we all feared the worst and hoped for the best with the news of a sudden medical emergency involving Red Hot Chili Pepper’s frontman Anthony Kiedis who was rushed to a hospital shortly before his band was set for a headline spot. Flea and his bandmates Chad Smith and John Klinghoffer took the stage to tell the crowd that Kiedis was dealing with a medical issue and that the band was “devastated” that they could not perform. The band made a statement to ease concerns of the RHCP fans around the world today stating that Keidis was suffering from a flu and would have to postpone concerts scheduled for this week but he would soon make full recovery.
