C.O.R.E. Music Summit provides an opportunity for independent talent of various genres at all stages of development to network, discuss music business topics, collaborate, perform, and share steps for getting paid in today’s music industry.
C.O.R.E. Music Summit with CORE Music Foundation takes place on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at The Grand BallRoom Chicago, 6351 S. Cottage Grove, Chicago, IL 60637. A free event with the suggested donation of $18.00 to cover expenses and to benefit CORE Music Foundation (nonprofit).

5/18/24 – Join the Lew Blond 5K – Where Every Step Makes a Difference!
Join Us for the 2024 Lew Blond Memorial 5K Run/Walk!
Date: Saturday, May 18th, 2024 Location: Maple School, 2370 Shermer Road, Northbrook, IL
Event Highlights:
5K Run: Lace up your sneakers and tackle the scenic 5K route, starting at 8am.
1 Mile Run: A shorter option for those who prefer a brisk mile, beginning at 9 am.
Little Lew 50-Yard Dash: Calling all little sprinters (ages 6 and under)! Dash your way to the finish line at 9:30 am.
Smile Mile: Capture your race-day smiles at Mile 2, sponsored by Dentistry For Kids, Ltd. Our photographer will snap your victorious moments and share them on the Lew Blond Run’s Instagram.
Why Run? The Lew Blond Memorial 5K honors the memory of Lew Blond, an exceptional Maple School teacher who dedicated his life to the applied arts. His impact on students, colleagues, and parents remains cherished. Proceeds from this event benefit ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease) research through the Les Turner ALS Foundation, fund high school scholarships at Glenbrook North and Glenbrook South High Schools, and support special District 30 projects. Let’s run, remember, and make a difference!
