Sales Account Executive

Job Description
Account Executive responsibilities include soliciting new business through prospecting and cold calling, managing and growing existing accounts, identifying clients’ advertising and marketing needs, and developing and presenting customized solutions to meet those needs. These individuals are also held accountable for achieving sales budgets and collecting on the accounts.

Candidates must possess exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiations skills. They must be self-motivated, goal driven and creative, with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.

Requirements:

  • College degree in communications, sales, media sales, business marketing or related field and/or equivalent.
  • Two years of broadcast sales experience or equivalent (applicants with previous broadcast sales will be given first consideration).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Marketron.
  • Familiarity with Arbitron ratings and/or other knowledge with comparable research tools is preferred.
  • Entusiastic, positive, and creative perspective to new business approaches with a commitment to personal growth through continual training.
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
