  2. What Happens If I Don’t Create a MyFest Account?

Basically, you can continue to use the entire site, listen to the music player, learn about bands, see when they are playing, participate in contests and all that jazz without ever interacting with MyFest. But you’d be missing out (and who wants to do that?). Signing up for MyFest lets you customize and compare your ideal festival weekend and keeps you up-to-date with what’s happening around Grant Park during the weekend. Signing up for MyFest does not sign you up for our e-mail list.

And no, signing up for MyFest doesn’t mean we’ll bug you with unwanted updates. You’re in control and you can customize as much as you want to.

  3. What Is the Difference Between “E-List” And “MyFest”?

MyFest is how you customize your entire Lollapalooza experience. It is how you create a Custom Schedule, Custom Lineup and Custom Festival. Anything you add will be added to your customized MyFest on lollapalooza.com.

To stay even more connected to what’s happening with Lollapalooza, sign up for our E-list to receive email updates directly to your e-mail inbox about:

    • Artist giveaways
    • Super-special deals
    • Updates on future festival tickets to get a head start!
  4. How Do I Sign In To MyFest?

This bar lives on every page and will keep you signed in once you log in. So you can go explore artists and craft your schedule, and always have access to your MyFest from every page.

*If you’re planning your festival from your mobile device, the MyFest access bar will be at the top of every page.

  5. What Can I “Add” To MyFest?

Anything that has a “+” or “+ ADD” button. This can include, but not limited to:

    • Bands on the Lineup Page
    • Individual Artist Pages

Keep an eye out for the “+” or “+ ADD” and make sure to click that button. Once you add something to MyFest, you will see the green bar on the left light up. This means your time has successfully been added to your MyFest so that you can stay updated with special notifications.

You can always remove something from MyFest as quickly as you can add it. Just look out for the “-“ or “- REMOVE”button.

  6. What Is The Music Player?

The music player is a collection of Spotify tracks from artists appearing at Lollapalooza. It will stream continuously as you navigate throughout different pages of the website. If your wristband has been lost or stolen, please contact our ticket provider, Front Gate Tickets at http://support.frontgatetickets.com or call 888-512-SHOW in advance of the festival.

Please note: There is a $25 wristband replacement fee.

  3. Do I Have To Activate My Wristband?

The 2018 Wristband Activation link will be available closer to the festival.

We encourage you to activate your wristband for Lollapalooza. Wristband activation ensures a smooth process when entering the festival each day and makes sure that your investment remains yours. Once you have activated your wristband, you will have the option to register for Lolla Cashless which adds quick and easy payments throughout the park.

Whether you choose to join the Lolla Cashless party or not, you will definitely want to activate your wristband. Equipped with RFID technology, each wristband will be personalized to YOU! But only after you activate your wristband!

Taking this simple action will secure your investment and make sure the unique ID associated with your wristband is tied to the right person. In the event you encounter any issues as you enter or exit the festival grounds, activated ticketholders will receive quicker assistance.

  4. Can I Mess With My Wristband?
    • DO NOT remove your wristband between days.
    • If wristbands are removed or tampered with whatsoever, they are void and will be confiscated.
    • If wristbands are too loose and look like they can be slipped on and off, they will be confiscated.

  1. What Is Lolla Cashless Presented by Citi? How Does it Work?

The 2018 Wristband Registration and Lolla Cashless link will be available closer to the festival. To activate your wristband and register for Cashless, you’ll follow these three simple steps:

    • Activate your festival ticket with the unique ID located on the wristband during which time you will also have the option to link your credit card to your wristband and set a required PIN for security. Now you’re registered for Cashless too!
    • Next, order at any bar location and select vendors, and let them know you are paying with your wristband.
    • Then tap your wristbandadd a tip amountenter your PIN, and go!
  2. What Are Lolla Cashless Benefits?
    • Save time and easy to use!
    • No need to carry cash or a credit card.
    • Accepted at all bars, food vendors, art vendors, and festival merchandise tents.
    • Check back for information on Citi Cashless benefits!
  3. Do I Have to Sign Up for Cashless and Pay With My Wristband in Order to Activate It?

No. While we certainly think it’s the best payment option, you can activate your wristband without enabling the Cashless payment option.

  4. I Already Activated My Wristband, But Missed Lolla Cashless. What Should I Do?

Don’t stress! Visit the Wristband Activation tent by Buckingham Fountain, and our staff can help you add Lolla Cashless and set your PIN right there!

For more immediate assistance before the festival, please contact our ticket service provider, Front Gate Tickets, or by calling their friendly support team at 888-512-SHOW Monday – Saturday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. CST.

  5. Are There Any Additional Fees for Using My Lolla Cashless Wristband?

Nope! It is free to sign up and free to use!

  6. Can I Link Multiple Credit or Debit Cards to My Wristband?

No. You will only be able to link a single credit or debit card to your wristband.

  7. Can I Link the Same Card to Multiple Wristbands?

Yes. If you wish to allow your card to be linked to multiple wristbands, you certainly can. Each wristband will require a separate PIN. The PIN must be entered when using the wristband to purchase anything participating in the Cashless program at the festival.

  8. Will My Wristband Run Out of Money?

Not unless the card you linked it to does. No funds are stored to the wristband, it’s just linked to your credit or debit card. As long as you could still use your card, you will still be able to use your Cashless wristband.

  9. Is My Credit Card Information Stored on My Wristband?

No. We do not actually store any financial data on the wristband. The PIN you choose upon Cashless registration will always be required to make a purchase. However your card number and billing details are not stored on the wristband. So don’t worry about someone snagging your info.

  10. Is Lolla Cashless Secure?

Yes! It works in conjunction with your credit card so it carries all the same security features and protection. You will also set a PIN during registration (just like a debit card), so no one else will be able to use your wristband or your Cashless Account without your PIN.

  11. What Happens if My Wristband is Damaged?

First, don’t panic. We can help! Bring your damaged wristband to a Ticket Help Tent at the festival (located at the Box Office and entrance/exit gates) and we can replace any activated wristband after verifying your ownership. You will have to re-link your credit card for security purposes. Then you will be back in action!

  1. Get Involved at Lollapalooza Through the Love Hope Strength Foundation

Lollapalooza is committed to supporting organizations dedicated to improving the quality of life for generations to come. For the fourth year at Lollapalooza, the Love Hope Strength Foundation is recruiting Ambassadors to volunteer on its behalf to promote their mission of signing up individuals to become potential marrow donors through their GET ON THE LIST campaign.

Get involved with LHSF at Lollapalooza by spending about 4 hours promoting their mission through interacting with fans across the Festival grounds on various teams focused on patron services and eco-initiatives: help fill water bottles, welcome patrons to the festival and more. The LHSF ambassador teams enhance the festival experience for all fans while supporting the Love Hope Strength Foundation by helping promote their mission.

For more information on the Love Hope Strength Foundation’s mission and to be notified when the application is live for one of their Ambassador positions, please visit the Love Hope Strength Foundation’s website at www.lovehopestrength.org/lollapalooza.

  1. ADA Festival Entrance

There are special designated lanes at the festival entrances for patrons with disabilities. Look for the wheelchair signs above the entrance lanes or ask a volunteer to direct you to the lanes.

  2. Lollapalooza Access Center

Our Access Center is located inside the festival grounds on Columbus Dr. just west of Buckingham Fountain. It is clearly marked on the festival map.

Our Access Center services include, but not limited to:

    • Answers to questions specific to the Access Program
    • Information relevant to our patrons with disabilities
    • Programming information in large print for reference
    • Power outlet for recharging power wheelchairs
    • Festival map that identify all viewing areas for patrons with mobility limitations or patrons who are Deaf / Hard of Hearing (plus one companion). Please note that special access viewing areas have limited capacity and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  3. Patrons with Mobility Limitations

The Festival grounds are wheelchair accessible, but please be aware that this is a large venue with great distances between stages. Also, it is an outdoor music festival situated in a park. Therefore, most travel is over natural terrain. If it should rain, there will be mud in some places.

We do not provide personal care, golf cart rides, or push service. Please plan ahead and bring attendants if needed. In addition, the festival does not provide wheelchairs for rent or loan. Please make arrangements in advance if a wheelchair is needed.

Wheelchairs, power wheelchairs and three or four-wheeled scooters are allowed for use by Patrons with mobility disabilities. For safety reasons, requests to use other power-driven mobility devices will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Visit the Access Center for a map of the festival grounds with wheelchair platform locations identified. The wheelchair platform areas are reserved at all times for people with mobility impairments plus one companion. Please note that these areas have limited capacity and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Accessible portalets are available at the ends of each row of restrooms throughout the park.

  4. Special Dietary Needs

Outside food and drink (except for bottled water) is not allowed in the festival, but if a patron has special medical dietary restrictions, items will be allowed if accompanied by a doctor’s note. You will be asked to present your doctor’s note to security upon entry to the festival.

A patron requiring insulin is allowed to bring his or her medically necessary materials and medications provided all medicine has a prescription label with the patron’s name. Out of concern for the festival staff and volunteers who handle the trash, please dispose of your medical waste and syringes in the proper disposal located at the medical tent (see public map for exact location). Please do not dispose of these items in other trash bins at the festival.

  5. Service Animals at Festival

Animals and pets are not allowed within the festival grounds. Service animal inquiries can be sent to [email protected].

  6. American Sign Language (ASL) Interpretation Performances

We provide many American Sign Language (ASL) interpreted music performances for patrons who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. Write [email protected] to request specific shows be interpreted. The deadline to request an interpretation is the second Friday of the month prior to the festival each year. Requests submitted after this date will be reviewed on a case by case basis. Check back closer to the festival for the schedule.

Please visit the Access Center for a map of the festival grounds with Deaf/Hard of Hearing areas identified. The designated areas are reserved only for Deaf/Hard of Hearing patrons and one companion. Please note that these areas have limited capacity and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
