The highlight of summer 2016 hasn’t been any blockbuster movie, at least so far. Nope, it’s the pleasant surprise that is the new Netflix series Stranger Things, which dropped its eight-episode first season on July 15. The horror/mystery series and Amblin throwback, which stars Winona Ryder and Matthew Modine, and is set in 1983, is the story of what happens in a small Indiana town when a little boy suddenly goes missing.
