The History of Alternative is coming

Starting September 8, 101 WKQX is going to roll through the HISTORY OF ALTERNATIVE! Listen every weekday from 10am-7pm as we play it all, from the formative years in the 1970s through the underground sounds bubbling up in 2020! Punk, post-punk, new wave, nu metal, goth, Britpop, industrial, grunge, garage, indie, electronic and all points in between… this is happening, and it’s going to be amazing.
