Saturday was one of those perfect Chicago weather days and I took advantage by driving up the Lake Michigan Circle Tour all the way to Zion and got in some hiking at the Illinois State Beach. The Lakefront and 606 may be closed, but there are still lots of parks and resources open where you and your family can go hiking, fishing, boating (with no more than 2 people in the boat) even picnicking while practicing safe social distancing.
