It was a toy that made a generation of kids feel like a had a pet, and a generations of parents feel good they didn’t spend more money on a real pet. Tamagotchi, the Japanese artificial pet toy clipped to your keychain is back. Bandai America announced they are making a 20th anniversary line of the toys that will be available on November 5th for $14.99.
According to AltPress, this comes with little surprise as it seems like every old is new again but this particular reboot was seen a long time ago when it was announced Tamagotchis would return to Japan.
