WATCH: Sly & the Family Stone crush on The Ed Sullivan Show

Yesterday, we received the unfortunate news that the massively influential frontman Sly Stone had passed away at the age of 82.

In honor of Stone’s passing, we hit the YouTube archives and were blown away by the live footage we saw of Stone performing. The best of the bunch was this 1968 performance that Sly & the Family Stone did on The Ed Sullivan Show.

Pour one out for Sly, you will be missed.
