Lululemon has a new initiative in which they will accept returns on “gently used” sports bras and yoga pants. Our hangup is not on the world “gently”, but on the idea that these items are being used at all. According to the brand’s press release, the trade-ins will be ‘cleaned using state-of-the-art technology’ and then be made available for other customers to buy back at discount in June as part of its sustainability efforts.
