At the age of 52, legendary skateboarder Tony Hawk just threw down his final 540 ollie on a vert ramp, 32 years after doing it for the first time. Hawk is long retired from active competition but still is an avid member of the skate scene with his son Riley now riding professionally (and shredding). Hawk, who obviously has been the main catalyst for taking skateboarding mainstream, shows us just how much you can do with a little perseverance.
Did my last ever ollie 540 today. You can compare it with my first one 32 years ago. This one meant a lot to me https://t.co/tExDDRFzb4 pic.twitter.com/Ggql2uADtg
