Green Day, Foo Fighters, & More: Watch the best Queen covers

Late great Queen singer Freddie Mercury is one of the most enduring and beloved voices in all of music. This Sunday marks the 28th anniversary of his passing. His influence has continued generations removed from his work with the multi-platinum rock band with many alternative artists covering his work. Here are some of the best Queen covers by our favorite 101WKQX bands.

Jukebox the Ghost actually did an entire Queen tribute set at our Halloween Bash a few years back. This cover is so rousing with the layered three-part harmonies.

Brendon  Urie has a high register slayer of a voice and he proved it on the hard-to-pull off cover of ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’.

Taylo Hakwins of the Foo Fighters is able to gracefully pull off Mercury’s famous crowd work in this 2017 cover of ‘Under Pressure’ at Madison Square Garden. Oh, why not have Luke Spiller of the Struts jump in because he has such a ready Freddie vibe.

My Chemical Romance and the Used tag teamed for their own ‘Under Pressure’ cover for charity causes helping victims of the disastrous 2005 tsunami.

Green Day pay their dues with the sports anthem ‘We are the Champions’ with a massive UK crowd singing every note with them.
