Barbie dolls are now gender neutral

Mattel has launched a new gender-fluid line of barbie dolls in hopes to reach kids who don’t feel comfortable defining themselves to gender-norms.

Mattel’s new Creatable World line of dolls will allow children to design their own doll to their liking in ways that could never be done before.

Kids will be able to decide the race of their doll, the length of its hair, and choose from a variety of clothing that both men and women have worn for decades.

Mattel has tested the new line of dolls on 250 families across the U.S. and hope to provide a toy that is suitable for any child, no matter how they define themselves.
