A.V. Club said this week that Weezer has become “the kid on the playground who deliberately tried to make themselves too weird to bully” and I say keep it weird! With their new self-titled ‘Black’ album, Weezer found a very unique way to tease it: getting their own island inside the online-multi player video game that has consumed a generation, Fortnite.

Rivers started the whole collaboration with the Fortnite team, when he tweeted that he was playing the game with his daughter.
