On “CBS Sunday Morning”, Dave Grohl admits to being lost after Kurt’s death

I had coffee with Dave Grohl this morning.  That is….he was on TV and I was in my house.  Anyways, here are some highlights of the interview.

  • After breaking his leg in Sweden, he claims he was running on adrenaline and obligation — not painkillers.
  • His schoolteacher mom was OK with Dave’s decision to drop out of high school — but only because of one reason.
  • After Kurt’s death, Dave says he was so “lost” that he couldn’t even listen to music.
