  • October 12, 2007: Casper, Wyoming: Tommy Lee, drummer for Motley Crue, suffered minor burns on his arms and face during a concert at The Casper Events Center because of a pyrotechnic mishap.

  • July 26, 1999: Rome, New York: At Woodstock ’99, many people were injured due to riots that broke out. Others were injured after crowds lit bonfires during the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ set that raged out of control.

  • Metallica was onstage at Montreal's Olympic Stadium in 1992, when their frontman accidentally stepped into the path of one of the 12-foot towers of flame that had been rigged to shoot from the lip of the stage. His guitar protected him from the full force of the blast, but fire still engulfed his left side, burning his hand, arm, eyebrows, face and hair. He suffered second- and third-degree burns, but was back onstage 17 days later.

  • August 5, 1991: tent collapsed during a hailstorm that sent a crowd of 1,500 fleeing from a concert in a tent. Forty-three people were injured. The storm struck during a concert by a singing group, The Lettermen, and the Utah Symphony.

  • March 13, 2002 A fan who slipped in a puddle of urine and water at Soldier Field in Chicago while going for a bathroom break during a U2 concert broke and disfigured his leg, forcing doctors to move his calf muscle just over his knee.

  • June 29, 1998 A 17-year-old girl attended a rock concert where promotional compact discs were being thrown into the audience as prizes. She suffered an extensive corneoscleral laceration with vitreous hemorrhage and retinal detachment when a compact disc struck her in the eye. An alternative, safer method must be used for distributing compact discs as prizes.

  • March 1, 2006 Jared Leto was performing with his band 30 Seconds to Mars in El Paso, Texas, when he ran into the crowd and was rushed by fans, breaking his nose. He also hurt his foot and suffered minor injuries to his face and body. Leto finished the show and even called it one of the best of the tour, but ultimately checked into a hospital to make sure he wouldn't need surgery for any of his injuries.

  • February 15, 2006 – A Noise Pollution concert came to an abrupt end after 10 people were injured after a 40 foot wall collapsed. The concert was at Rock Café 2000 in Stourbridge, England. Two fans had fractured pelvises and the other eight were treated for cuts and bruises.

  • April 24, 2004 – At rock concert in Boston, a speaker tower fell onto spectators causing broken bones, cuts, and bruises. The wind was blamed for the tower falling.

  • September 30, 2006 – The Delicious Rox Festival 2006 was shut down after a band member threw a beer bottle into the crowd, injuring a female spectator.

  • November 29, 2005 – At a Korn Concert in Tacoma, Washington, a man was jumped on and thrown down a level in the Tacoma Dome breaking his arm and his hip.

  • August 8, 2006 – At a Tool Concert in San Diego many fans were injured as fans rushed the stage at the Qualcomm Stadium. One man was critically injured with head and chest injuries and two others had to be hospitalized.

  • December 21, 2006 – Disturbed’s Music as a Weapon Tour in 2006 ended roughly as their second to last show at the US Cellular Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa landed 10 people in the hospital for injures.

  • January 28th, 2007 – In the northern town of Umeaa in Sweden, 21 people were reported injured when the the floor collapsed during a Mando Diao concert.

  • August 1990 – In New York City, 30 people were treated for minor injuries and 3 were brought to a hospital during a Public Enemy concert when 40 youths scaled the gates at the amphitheater and randomly assaulted concert goers and security guards.

  • June 2000- A fan, also a paramedic, was kicked in the head after Fred Durst invited concertgoers to come down to the main floor.

  • July 23, 2005 – In underground Atlanta, Georgia during a free Weezer concert many people were injured from climbing light posts and jumping into the crowd.

  • March 12, 2003 – Oslo, Norway – A man attending a heavy metal concert suffered a fractured skull when he was hit with a flying sheep head. The head flew off the knife of Mayhem lead singer Maniac who carved up a dead sheep as part of the act.

  • January 2007 – At A Fall Out Boy show in Albequerque, NM, security for the venue got too rough with the kids in the crowd so Pete Wentz leapt into the crowd and started throwing punches at the security guards. Pete got a little banged up, but was ok.

  • March 2006 – Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy takes a dive off the Upper Balcony at The Knitting Factory. Apparently the crowd didn’t know what to do, and didn’t really catch him. He ended up landing on the cement floor.

  • August 3, 2006 – During the shooting of the video for the My Chemical Romance video The Black Parade, front man Gerard tore multiple ligaments in his ankle and drummer Bob received a bad burn to the back of his leg.

  • September 2005 – During a Motley Crue show in Atlanta, singer Vince Neil fell off the stage causing the band to stop the show. Vince was rushed to the hospital where he was treated for a torn calf muscle.
