50 First Dates

While I did find the movie funny from time to time, it was not a laugh fest like American Wedding. It seemed a bit like a weaker Groundhog Day. It was a good movie overall, but it dragged too much in parts in between for me to call it great. I like Adam Sandler, & I wanted to like this one! I really did. I give it 2 1/2 stars out of four.

This had to be one of the better Sandler movies I have seen in a while. I mean honestly! Eight Crazy Nights? Who saw that? Not me I'll tell you that. 50 first dates was really a quality family movie. Ii think that everyone can enjoy it.

So, here I am, going with some friends to have a good old laugh at the childish comedy of an Adam Sandler movie when we were cruelly suprised. The movie started off as a comedy, but then started turning into a romantic comedy, then it became a total chick flick. Personally, I would like to have seen what happened to Sean Astin's character at the end, instead of the sap that was forced upon me. I'm sorry to say that the movie became predictable towards the end, very much not like what you would want from Sandler. All in all, I would rate this as one of Sandler's worst movies ever. I give it 1 1/2 out of 4 stars.

I saw this movie at the Q101 screening and it was way better than I expected. I thought the movie would focus on a romantic kind of story with a laugh here and there, but to my surprise I thought it was a lot more funny than romantic. Rob Schneider and Sean Astin are both hilarious, they steal the spotlight. That is not to say that you can't take your girlfriend to see it, or boyfriend for that matter, there's something in it for everyone. Out of five, I give it a four.

Went to your premier. This movie was great! I would recommend this to anyone who has a sense of humor or needs one. Adam and Drew are really great in this movie. 100X better than the wedding singer. Guys, if your not into this good date movie and doze off, you might miss Drew's hooters in a drenched t-shirt...the theatre went silent and my mouth watered! Forget Janet, Drew's got a rack baby! Funny, funny and more funny. Ahhh, to be in love for the first time again and again and again. Funny when you look back and think of all the goofy things we do for that first love. Two thumbs up :)
