While the movie is a lengthy one,more than two hrs,it is one that is full of emotion and grit and chronicles the budding oil industry when oil was inexpensive.
D-D Lewis is the main actor has a remarkable transformation from oil broker to tycoon,yet his personal losses are catastrophic,as the quest for oil soon takes hold of him and changes him into a greedy and sorrowful sort.
Another good movie to watch starring D-D Lewis is "My left foot",that is the film that clinches it for him as a superb character actor.
