DAVE BALL
Hi People, My name is David Anthony Ball, you can call me Dave. You should probably know that Chicago and I have been in a pretty physical relationship for the last 20 plus years. I wouldn’t trade what we have shared for anything…pretty creepy huh?

My career began right here at Q101 in 2000 on the other side of the microphone, which you should know is much, much cleaner and shinier. It was kick ass because I was able to have a high energy and creative environment to work in which inspired me to pursue an acting career. Hmmm…now where would a guy, who in the comforts of his own bathroom mirror emulates everything he’s ever seen on television and movies while simultaneously mimicking every friend, boss and relative to ever come across his path and is able to make himself laugh so hard he pimp hands his own reflection just to shut himself up….go to get some experience? I got it…Second City.

From there the Dave Ball got rolling. There were plenty of opportunities to get involved with improv shows, independent films, creating/writing/producing/performing in the hip-hop duo “Def Star” and was featured in the Oprah Winfrey practical joke show.  I guarantee you to this day Oprah has no idea who I am, and if you don’t believe me just ask her.

Right now I have a once in a lifetime opportunity to be a part of something new and fresh for radio and that’s about a s precious as an egg under a penguins F.U.P.A…heh…! If you don’t know what that means just Google it!

I’ll be the man on the street and my goal is to meet each and every one of you while I’m out there. I’m not talking a flaky “It was nice to meet you…Bill…er…Pete…sorry…Janet” type relationship. I mean the whole nine yards, like going into each others fridges for yogurt type pals. When the last time you shared yogurt…exactly… see you out there my friends.
