Born in Oak Lawn, I am South Side through and through. I went to Kelly High School where after being dumped from the tennis team, I tried out for the junior varsity cheerleading squad. Don’t laugh – I dated half the team.

Forever spoiled after looking up hot cheerleader skirts, I did what other men who can’t get a date do--I became an engineer.

I've been engineering for over 10 years now and have had the pleasure of working with many of the fine talent that Chicago has to offer such as--From Zero, Lungbrush, Scott Lucas(Local H) A Band Called Horse, Sleeping At Last, and Blank Theory just to name a few… some may know me from my days managing my former studio on the south side.

When I was a kid, I would listen (to the radio) and I thought that the music was a band actually playing inside the radio. Every live performance that I engineer now on Local 101 takes me back to when I was a kid. Now I get to engineer what other people hear on the other end of the radio; what more could I ask for? We’ll maybe a 12-pack, but I’ll get that on the local show.

Today I'm more committed to the local community then ever: I own/operate “Chicago Music Service”, a full service production company complete with Recording, CD Mastering, CD Manufacturing and Distribution, Graphic Design, Packaging, including Artist Merchandise and Promotional Materials. CMS has a wide variety of clients from all walks of music some are: Gene Simmons (Kiss), Twista, Crucial Conflict, Albertina Walker, Kayne West, AFC Superbowl Champion Chris McAllister, Chicago Bear Mark Columbo, Sound Master “T”, Jah-Rista, Hemp, etc. CMS also provides over 7 full rehearsal/recording production rooms for clients.
