Q101 - Everything Alternative

The Time is Now...Call 1-888-93-BAND
If you are an unsigned band
If you want to play live in major venues
If you want to gain experience and have a lot of fun...
then Emergenza is what you need!

You can play whatever music style you want. From original material to cover songs, you can play whatever you want. You can even sing in any language you choose, or not sing at all! Any kind of music is welcome at Emergenza. Emergenza will provide you with the stage, the technical organization and the promotion; what happens next is up to you.

There’s three ways you can register:
  • By phone: call their staff, you can find the number in their website (click on enrolment points)
  • Online through Emergenza's website (just fill out the application form)

  • At the registration point: you can also register in person at selected music shops in your city, a list of which you can find in the website (again click on
    enrolment points)

A few days after you will be contacted by Emergenza's local manager, to book the meeting in which you will learn all you have to know about how Emergenza works and confirm your inscription (you will be given the date of your first concert). After that, the local manager is your landmark, do not hesitate to contact him for any question!

And remember that all the members of the band MUST participate at the meeting!

The sooner you pay the registration fee, the sooner you have your spot in the festival guaranteed. When the local manager calls to arrange the first meeting, priority is given to the bands who have already paid. Anyway, you can also pay at your fist meeting. Unlike other contests, once you pay Emergenza's one-time only fee, you are guaranteed to play at least one show in the eliminatory round in your city. The bands will never be required to pay other fees if they advance further in the festival. Moreover, enrolled bands will receive a FREE string set for guitar and bass courtesy of our main sponsor, Ernie Ball, as well as a pair of Regal Tip drumsticks and a Remo snare drum head: these gifts somewhat make up for the fee, and will be given at the technical meeting which takes place before the show.

You do not have to send a demo or a press kit, because there is no pre-selection of bands before the concerts. They work on a ‘first come, first served’ basis, they want bands to show what they can do on stage!
So all you have to do is enroll, and then keep on playing!

In last year's Chicago finals, the Ghettobillies were the overwhelming favorite in this year's Emergenza Festival. Check out their song "Hiding Out" right HERE.Read an interview about their experience with the Emergenza festival right HERE.
