Q101 is looking for 2010 Summer Interns!
If you have an
outgoing personality, flexible schedule, and are willing to work hard, then Q101
wants you!
The next Q101 Marketing & Promotions Internship program takes place this summer from May 2010 through August 2010. We are looking for hard-working, ambitious college students willing to spend their time in a fast-paced, exciting and unique environment, learning what it takes to succeed in major-market radio.
Interns will be asked to dedicate 20-30 hours per week to the Q101 Promotion & Marketing department. Interns will be responsible for various office duties such as preparing for station events, contacting contest winners, mailing out prizes and assisting department staff with various needs. On-site responsibilities will include execution of station events, concerts, movie premieres, street festivals and various sales promotions.
A major in Radio is not a requirement, but a friendly, outgoing, hard-working personality is absolutely necessary. The internship is unpaid and we require that you receive credit from your school. If spending your time working your butt off for Chicago’s primary rock stations sounds like something you'd enjoy, then email a cover letter and resume to:
