This morning, as you're slaving away at a job you hate just so the government can help themselves to half your paycheck, I want you to know that THIS is how your elected officials are spending your money.

--Recently, the National Institutes of Health awarded a series of grants including: 

#1.)  $28,000 for researchers at the University of Maryland to study why methamphetamine seems to create a, quote, "insatiable need" for sex

#2.)  $123,000 to the University of Illinois at Chicago to study how drugs can be used as a, quote, "sex enhancer"

#3.)  $219,000 to study "hookups" among adolescents at Syracuse University

#4.)  $221,000 to examine the, quote, "barriers to correct condom use" at Indiana University

#5.)  And $403,900 to the New York State Psychiatric Institute in order to study the relationship between drinking and risky sex among homosexuals in Argentina  (???)

--If you're keeping track, that's nearly $1 MILLION of your money the government has set aside to study SEX.  (--Who knew we were so confused about it?)
