Jaime Black's career in radio began at the of 15, as an intern for Loyola College Radio, and soon after, Rock 103.5 with Chris Payne. From there, he followed Payne to Q101 in November of 1998, and has worked alongside him ever since, including on Local 101 since 2001.
Along the way, Black has ventured into music journalism for the likes of Illinois Entertainer and UR Chicago, DJ'd at bars like Lakeview Broadcasting, the Abbey Pub, and Double Door, and booked/managed sold out live music events and parties at Beat Kitchen and Schuba's.
